I have been tasked with looking for interesting qabbalistic connections between the gospels of Mark, John, and Matthew (AKA the synoptic gospels) in the King James Bible. This post is a collection of what I have discovered.
I began my research with this interesting hyperstitional carrier: the “Q Source” that supposedly influenced Matthew and Luke but not Mark.
Q SOURCE = AQ-161 = BEELZEBUB = THEURGIA = LAZARUS = HUMAN-MADE = ANTI-SUN1
Already, we’ve found some interesting things. Since Bible passages are ordered numerically, my first step in unpacking the text was to find traces of 161. I found this chart which lists the similarities between the four gospels. From there, I checked for 161 in whatever ways I could: 1:61, 16:1, etc. It only occurs a handful of times, and the first one that drew in my attention was Matthew 16:1/Luke 11:16.
These lines act as a warning against the seeking of signs. In other words, a warning against this project entirely.
LUKE 11:292 = AQ-2885 = 23 = 5
MATTHEW 16:4 = AQ-2579 = 23 = 5
Well, we’re off to a pretty amazing start here. Despite the fact that they include totally different framings, they plex to the same thing. They say to look for the sign of the prophet Jonas:
SIGN OF JONAS THE PROPHET = AQ-449 = THE LEMURIAN PANDEMONIUM = THE STORY GOES LIKE THIS = HUMAN SECURITY SYSTEM = DIE FOR YOUR GOVERNMENT
With that in mind, I pressed onward.
The next obvious direction was to check for 23s or 5s or 17s.
I began searching with 23. Searching for obvious hits, Matthew 8:23 stood out to me the most, because it matches the same chapter of Luke (almost to the same verse).
LUKE 8:22-25 = AQ-10475 = 17 = 8
MATTHEW 8:23-27 = AQ-7837 = 25 = 7
WHERE IS YOUR FAITH? = AQ-354 = 12 = 3
WHY ARE YE FEARFUL, O YE OF LITTLE FAITH? = AQ-646 = 16 = 7
The fact that the quote taken from Matthew 8:26 plexes to 7 and matches the section it comes from stands out, but there’s no other obvious pattern to go on.
What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him. = AQ-1416 = 12 = 3
What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him! = AQ-1078 = 16 = 7
The fact that both quotes taken from Luke plex to 3 and both quotes taken from Matthew plex to 7 is very curious indeed.Numogrammatically, 3 and 7 are directly linked to 2, so it would make sense to try to trace a connection to 2. The most obvious one is in the character that this section is about: Jesus. JESUS = AQ-119 = 11 = 2. So, the subject of this section is Zn-2 itself, described through Zn-3 or Zn-7, the two main connections with Zn-2.
Broadly, this section is trying to describe Jesus as a person and as a hero. From the differences in descriptions, we find that the language of Luke is much more baroque and poetic, while Matthew is more straightforward and to the point. Luke’s section is valued 2638 higher in AQ than Matthew’s, despite covering the same topic. Since Luke is associated with 3, we could attribute this verboseness to an influence of the warp, while Matthew’s succinct nature could be attributed to the influence of Zn-7.
Zn-3 is associated with extreme growth and overpowering creation. To describe Jesus in a Zn-3 way would be to try to make the reader feel in awe at his power through poetic means. Meanwhile, Zn-7, as the complement to Zn-2, stabilizes it and makes it foundational. There is no surprise that Jesus can do or did such things, after all, he was the son of God. It’s simply in his nature to be great! Where is your faith?
The easiest way to confirm whether or not this analysis might be true true that I thought of was to check Luke 1:1 and Matthew 1:1 to see what they say.
LUKE 1:1 = AQ-2152 = 10 = 1
MATTHEW 1:1 = AQ-1265 = 14 = 5
Hmmm, nope! However, this section is actually taken from Mark, and not the Q Source, so let’s check what Mark equals and see what happens.
MARK 4:35-41 = AQ-12339 = 18 = 9
Not what I expected, though it equaling 18 does reaffirm that it came first and served as the basis. 8::1 feeds 7::2, and from there we get Luke and Matthew. That part checks out, but the line about Jesus as 2 doesn't seem to go anywhere yet. While chapter 2 of both Matthew and Luke follow the early life of Jesus, they start in slightly different places. That's not much to go on at all.
Unsure of where to go next, I decided to look for 17. The 17th parallel described by the website is The Resurrection (=AQ-333 (when I found this, I almost had an Attack)). The first section of The Resurrection is called "The Women at the Tomb" and in Matthew runs from 28:1-8 while in Luke it's 24:1-12. I found it funny that 2+8=10=1, so Matthew's ends at 1:8 while Luke's is 2+4=6, so ends at 6:(1+2=)3. Luke overall seems to line up a bit better with 6::3 (or the warp) than Matthew lines up with Zn-7.
This section is pretty barren for Matthew and Luke. They only line up in the beginning, and then they don't coincide at all through the end. It seemed worthwhile to check this final parallel.
LUKE 24:1-12 = AQ-20187 = 18 = 9
MATTHEW 28:1-10 AQ- 17726 = 23 = 5
Luke houses 8::1 and 7::2 within this final parallel and ends all tied up with a perfect 9, while Matthew combines a lone 8 (or 17) with a 7::2 or a 6::3 with a pair of 7s (7::7 or 14). Matthew's 23 ties up nicely with our first find using 161 and the Q Source, but this final section on the resurrection is found in Mark and John as well, so it's necessarily special. Everyone just wanted to hear about Jesus' return!
So, does this all point to anything? No clue. A deeper qabbalistic analysis might yield more fruit, but it's far beyond the scope of this project.
This shows only a few of the equivalencies in the AQutie dictionary. My work in this article will be filtered primarily through this dictionary.
This notation means that I input the entire text of the passage into the calculator.
